The Siamese Crocodiles
The logo is a derivative of an ancient African proverb of the Akan tribe which is a representation of two Siamese crocodiles which share one stomach. Even though they share a stomach they still fight each other for food because each crocodile relishes the taste of the food as it goes down its own throat. This represents the internal conflict that mankind has – that even though we all belong to one big community we still fight each other. It's the symbol of democracy and unity. It is a reminder that infighting and tribalism and all kinds of "isms" are harmful to all who engage in them. More formally it is the symbol of the oneness of the human family despite cultural differences. A need for unity, especially where people share one destiny.
