The current state of music in SA is poor!

I don't think there will ever be another 'Brenda Fassie' or 'Yvonne Chaka Chaka' or 'Miriam Makeba' with the way the state of affairs is. This question was posed to Chico Thwala and his view was that the artists are not spending enough time honing their craft. Furthermore he believes that they've run out of ideas, which is why they keep on recycling old beats.
