Building a tribe

According to Seth Godin, if you want to build a tribe of 1,000 fans there are five rules that you have to follow:
1) Publish a manifesto: this could be a simple mantra or payoff line that clearly outlines the "reason for being" for your tribe, it could be "a private super network".
2) The members should easily be able to communicate with you as a leader.
3) The members should be able to easily communicate with each other.
4) Members should easily be able to recruit others.
5) Money should not be the primary objective but an enabler for the cause.
