Marketers want us to believe the following equation: "If you buy this, everything will be alright". In fact this is what they are selling you above all else. They try and find people with a problem that their product will solve. Oh there is always someone with the same problem, as long as someone has thought of a stupid product, that product must have a market somewhere (via sg).
