Love in the age of cholera

Yesterday, I watched a movie called "love in the time of cholera".It's about a man who waits 53 years to marry the woman he loves @ 72yrs old. When she was 19yrs old she got married to someone else who was rich. He was poor and afraid, so he never asked her to marry him. He vowed to wait for her, in the meantime he tried to make himself rich, which he maned to do. But it was too late for she was gone already. He waited until her husband died. And on the day of his funeral, he went and proposed to her. She was 72 years and he was 75 years. Only in the movies.
