New Joint Ventures

New JVs go through 3 phases:
1. Pioneering phase,
2. Rapid growth phase, and
3. Consolidation phase.
In all the stages the JV needs a leader with different skill sets. It is very rare that you find someone who has all of them. Most JVs will fail due to the fact that they had the wrong leader at the right phase.
